On 5 January 2026, the newspaper Le Parisien revisited the issue of PFAS.Pierre Labadie (researcher at the EPOC laboratory) discussed issues related to eternal pollutants.
He explained what PFAS are, why they are now present in all our ecosystems, and why the subject is only now emerging in public debate.
‘We are only talking about it today because it can take decades to prove that a substance is dangerous to health and the environment,’ says Pierre Labadie, researcher at the EPOC laboratory.
