Platform Aquatic biogeochemistry
As part of the ECOBIOC team, the platform ‘Aquatic Biogeochemistry’ brings together a range of scientific and technical skills relate to the dynamics of biogenic elements (C, N, P, Si), associated compounds (O₂, S) and biogeochemical processes in aquatic ecosystems. This involves the analysis of a large number of compounds linked to the production, transfer and remineralisation of organic matter, including chemical elements that are sensitive to the redox conditions of the studied environment. In addition to aquatic biogeochemistry, our technical expertise also enables us to carry out analyses on matrices such as plants, soil, animals, etc. This platform is based at the Pessac and Arcachon sites.
