G&E TRANSFERT

G&E Transfert

Comprising three divisions (PoCible, Numineo and AGeoS) with identified areas of expertise, the G&E Transfer unit enables industry to benefit from the know-how and skills of the Geosciences and Environment laboratory. It transfers the expertise developed by the laboratory to companies for development and marketing purposes.

Areas of activity

Cascades

PoCible

Provides in situ metrology and 3D pilot tests for the diagnosis and remediation of polluted sites and soils.

Cascades

Numineo

Enables the laboratory’s expertise and innovation capacity in hydrogeological and geochemical numerical modelling to be applied in the following areas:

  • Management of polluted sites and soils and
  • Management of groundwater resources.

Our services

Cascades

PoCible

We offer a whole range of innovative tools, operating on existing structures, to refine understanding of the major components of pollution (source, flow, etc.).

We also offer laboratory feasibility tests for treatment of polluted soils. Under static (batch) or dynamic conditions at different scales (column, 3D pilot), we carry out treatment tests on different matrices sampled directly on site (water, soil, sludge, sediment).

Cascades

Numineo

We develop flow and reactive transport models to help understand complex hydrogeochemical systems.

We use mathematical optimisation tools to optimise the design and control of in situ groundwater treatment systems.

Instruments

Cascades

Targeted sampler

  • For taking water samples form boreholes at a defined depth.

Double probe

  • For continuous measurement of oil level in a borehole.

Air-water exchanger

  • Continuously measures the content of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in water.

Our achievements

  • Modelling at Valence site : flow and reactive transport of polluants modelling

  • ORTI3D Maintenance and Improvements : Development of the ORTI3D interface.

  • Double probe monitoring.
